I'd like you to click here and follow steps #2 and then #4 through to #7 to inspect and clean the cartridges. - Defective new cartridges are not unknown.
- I would test the cartridges in a known working printer.
- Cartridges can be defective out of the box.
- While holding the Power button, press the Resume button () four times.
- There is no paper jam.
- The system returned: (22) Invalid argument The remote host or network may be down.
- I have about the same problem with everyone else in this thread, only it's the colour cartridge that seems to have the problem.

I can repair 4-6 DeskJets on a good day, then I skip 2-3 days to let all the small cuts on my fingers heal before I do any more. Don't assume that a cartidge has to be good if it is refilled or even new.
Now it printed about 10 pages and stopped for a while and then stopped altogether and the "toner light" started blinking. There are more steps involved with correctly installing USB DRIVERS and if not done correctly can cause additional problems.
